CLARITY BY BUREAU VERITAS

CLARITY BY BUREAU VERITAS is a certification program developed by Bureau Veritas and used to assess sustainability and ethical production practices in the textile sector. This certification aims to independently and impartially assess and report on textile companies’ Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.

This certification contributes to Tekstar creating a reliable brand image among conscious consumers by guaranteeing that its products are of the highest quality and sustainable.

Global Recycled Standard Certification

This independent certification is designed to verify and track the content of recycled materials used in Tekstar’s products.The GRS certificate ensures that the recycled materials used in Tekstar’s products are traced from source to end product and that the use of harmful chemicals is restricted. It also promotes fair labor practices and social responsibility in production processes.

Global organic textile standart (GOTS)

This international certification confirms that 100% of the raw materials used in Tekstar’s products are organic, that production processes meet the highest environmental and social standards, and that there is transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain.

The GOTS certificate covers textile products made from organic cotton, linen, wool, and other organic fibers in Tekstar’s product portfolio. This certification contributes to establishing a reliable brand image among conscious consumers by guaranteeing that Tekstar’s products are of the highest quality and sustainable.

Tekstar has taken its commitment to sustainability and ethical production a step further by obtaining the Organic 100 Content Standard Certification. This independent certification confirms that 100% of the raw materials used in Tekstar’s products are organic and that production processes meet the highest environmental and social standards.

Organic Blended Content Standard (OBCS)

Tekstar has reinforced its commitment to sustainability and ethical production by obtaining the Organic Blended Content Standard (OBCS) certification, an independent certification for blended textile products containing organic fibers. This certification ensures that the organic fibers used in Tekstar’s products are traced from source to end product and that the use of harmful chemicals is restricted. It also promotes fair labor practices and social responsibility in production processes.

Recycled Blended Claim Standard (RBCS)

Recycled Blended Claim Standard (RBCS) is a standard that certifies a textile product contributes to recycling. This standard determines the recycled content in the products and the percentage of this content. Tekstar encourages the use of recycled content in its products in line with its sustainability approach, and therefore holds the RBCS certification.

SEDEX

Tekstar demonstrates its commitment to ethical trade and responsibility standards in the workplace by holding the Sedex certification. This certification validates that Tekstar continuously monitors its social and ethical performance within the supply chain and adheres to high standards. By obtaining the Sedex certification, Tekstar proves its dedication to responsible practices in areas such as labor rights, workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and business ethics. Thus, it assures its partners and customers of a reliable and ethical business environment.

GLC International

GLC International is a leading certification body in environmental and social responsibility standards. Tekstar has obtained significant certifications such as the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) through this organization. These certifications demonstrate that Tekstar promotes the use of recycled and organic materials in its production processes and ensures the traceability of these materials. This certifies Tekstar’s commitment to reducing environmental impact and building a sustainable future.

Recycled 100 Claim Standard (RCS) Certificate

Tekstar once again demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by holding the Recycled 100 Claim Standard (RCS) certification. This certification ensures that our products contain at least 95% recycled content and that these contents are traceable and verified throughout the entire supply chain. The RCS certification highlights Tekstar’s adoption of practices that promote the use of recycled materials, reduce environmental impact, and support sustainable production processes. Through this standard, we provide our customers and partners with assurance regarding products made from recycled materials.

EcoVadis Certificate

The EcoVadis Certificate is a document that comprehensively evaluates and scores Tekstar’s environmental, social, and ethical performance. This certificate is an important document that demonstrates Tekstar’s commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Scope of the EcoVadis Certificate:

Environmental Impact: Topics such as energy consumption, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions, and water use.
Social Compliance: Topics such as working conditions, labor rights, health and safety, and discrimination.
Ethical Business Practices: Topics such as governance, transparency, anti-corruption, and fair trade.

Better Cotton Initiative

Tekstar holds the Better Cotton Certificate awarded by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) to promote more sustainable practices in cotton production. This certificate indicates that the cotton producers in Tekstar’s supply chain are committed to environmental and social responsibility principles such as conserving water resources, improving soil health, using fewer chemicals, and adhering to fair labor practices.

As Tekstar, we support BCI in their efforts to enhance environmental health and the welfare of farmers in cotton production across 25 countries, including Turkey, where 2.4 million people are employed.

BSCI Certification

Tekstar is proud to hold the BSCI Certification, issued by the Business Social Compliance Initiative. This certification demonstrates that Tekstar adheres to social responsibility principles throughout its supply chain and upholds human rights, labor rights, working conditions, and environmental standards.

OEKO-TEX 100 Certification

Tekstar is proud to hold the OEKO-TEX 100 certification, which guarantees that its products are safe for human health and the environment. This certification is achieved through independent testing and certification, ensuring that textile products are free from harmful substances.
